§ Mr. St. John-StevasSince 1 January 1979 229 office of arts and libraries items have been released to the Public Record Office. A summary of these will be given in the annual report of the Keeper of Public Records in accordance with his normal practice. It would not be practicable to list particulars here but I shall send them to the hon. Member by letter. No departmental papers relating to matters for which I have responsibility either as Leader of the House or as Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster were released to the Public Record Office during this period.
