§ Mr. Rookerasked the Secretary of State for Soctland whether any of his departmental files have been released to the Public Record Office since 1 January; and, if so, if he will list them in the Official Report by piece reference number and title.
§ Mr. RifkindScottish Office records—including 2,827 items since 1 January—are released, as part of the public archive of Scotland, to the Scottish Record Office. Having regard to cost and time factors, it is impractical to list particulars of the 2,827 now; a summary of the records released will be given in the annual report of the Keeper of the Records of Scotland in accordance with his usual practice.
