§ Mr. Rookerasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether any of his departmental files have been released to the Public Record Office since 1 January; and, if so, if he will list them in the Official Report by piece reference number and title.
§ Mr. Heseltine1,664 files from my Department have been released to the Public Record Office since 1 January 1979. Because of the volume it would not be practicable to record them in theOfficial Report and I am therefore having a list placed in the Library.
