§ Mr. Allen McKayasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will establish forthwith a national working party to investigate all aspects of school meals and midday supervision, instruct it to report by a specified date, to make the report public and to pay due regard to the need to provide solutions to the problems.
§ Dr. BoysonMy right hon. and learned Friend has no plans to do so. The question of midday supervision, including supervision of the school meal, falls within the scope of a joint working party of representatives of the teachers and their employers, the local education authorities.
