Mr. Milanasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will ask the Parliamentary Boundary Commission for Scotland to publish, in as much detail as possible, its prospective timetable for the general review of constituencies which it is to carry out between now and 1981.
§ Mr. YoungerI shall draw this suggestion to the Commission's attention. It is statutorily required to report on the general review not later than 1984 and I understand that it is likely to publish its provisional proposals in series, by regions, in an order yet to be decided, during the first half of 1980 and hopes to complete its review by mid-1981.
