Member will be aware that, following the recent review of regional policy, Dundee retained its special development area status, and will continue to attract the full range of industrial incentives. In addition, we are examining, in co-operation with the Scottish Development Agency and the local authorities, every possibility of encouraging the establishment of new businesses and the expansion of existing firms.
