Mr. J. Enoch Powellasked the Lord Privy Seal which are the Commonwealth countries under whose law citizenship can be claimed in certain circumstances by persons born in the United Kingdom to parents who are citizens of those countries by descent.
§ Mr. LuceFrom the latest information we have it appears that the laws of all Commonwealth countries, with the exception of Dominica, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and Tonga, contains provisions allowing their citizenship to be claimed in certain circumstances by persons born in the United Kingdom to parents who are citizens of these countries by descent.
