§ Mr. Michael Brownasked the Lord Privy Seal if he is satisfied with the monitoring arrangements of Russia's observance of the SALT II agreement.
§ Mr. HurdSeveral provisions of the SALT II agreement are designed to facilitate monitoring. On the information available we have no reason to doubt the United States Government's judgment that their monitoring arrangements are sufficient to ensure that the agreement is adequately verifiable.
