§ Mr. David HowellIn addition to monitoring the reduction in the use of oil for electricity generation and the savings to be achieved by public sector authorities, there will be continuing close liaison with the oil industry concerning 279W the allocation schemes, both as to their effect on reduction in demand and as to equity of treatment of their customers. It will be our aim to ensure that adequate stocks of oil will be built up again next winter while not reducing current supply to unnecessarily low levels.
