§ Mr. Allen McKayasked the Minister of Transport what is the commencement date and finishing date of Stockbridge bypass; and if he will make a statement on whether the spur roads at Deepcar and to British Steel—Stockbridge—will be part of the project.
§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeSubject to the satisfactory completion of statutory procedures and the availability of funds, we hope to start construction of the Stockbridge bypass in the summer of 1982 and to finish about two years later. The need for additional facilities at Deepcar and for direct access to the British Steel works is still being considered.
