§ Mr. Gregor MacKenzieasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will have an inspection made of the licensed rubbish tips in the Mount Vernon and Carmyle districts of Rutherglen with a view to the prevention of the dumping of noxious waste.
§ Mr. RifkindNo. The inspection of rubbish tips is the responsibility of the licensing authority, in this case the city of Glasgow district council. Should I receive 153W an appeal against the conditions imposed on the operation of these tips I would consider it on its merits.
