§ 14. Mr. Hefferasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether, in his plan for comprehensive education for the city of Liverpool, he intends to maintain the policies of the previous Government; and, if not, what criteria he will use to alter the situation.
§ Dr. BoysonIt is not for my my right hon. and learned Friend to make plans for the organisation of education in individual local authorities. If the Liverpool authority or the governors of any voluntary secondary schools in the city make proposals to him, he will consider them carefully.
