HC Deb 27 March 1979 vol 965 c121W
Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will publish in the Official Report the names of Members of Parliament who have their names on the Metropolitan Police computer; what is contained in each instance; what action these Members are able to take to examine those entries, and to correct their accuracy; and whether he will make a statement.

Mr. Litterick

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether there is an entry on the Metropolitan Police computer on the hon. Member for Birmingham, Selly Oak; and, if so, what it contains.

Mr. Merlyn Rees

I am not prepared to answer questions as to whether or what information about particular individuals, whoever they might be, is held by the police, whether on written records or in computers.
