§ Mr. HoramI regret that statistics of lorry accidents by gross weight categories, or in the weight ranges requested, are not currently available. A new road accident reporting form is gradually being introduced by police forces throughout Great Britain. The new form contains details of maximum permitted gross weight of lorries. Thus eventually this information will be available, but it is not yet possible to state how soon this information will be available on a national basis.
