Mr. David Watkinsasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what representations he is making at the Council of Ministers about the effects of the proposed EEC Council regulation No. 816/70, on additional provisions for the wine market, on trade between the United Kingdom and Cyprus.
§ Mr. StrangNone. The proposals would place no restriction on trade between the United Kingdom and Cyprus.
Imports of Cypriot grape must vary considerably from year to year due to changes in market conditions. The effect of the proposals, over and above these normal fluctuations cannot be estimated.
