asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many Inland Revenue officials have visited the offices and works of newspapers since 4 March; which newspapers they have visited; and what is the purpose of their visits.

From 4 to 11 March, seven Inland Revenue officials have between them visited all the newspaper offices in Fleet Street with the purpose of giving advice on any problems arising from the introduction of the new tax arrangements for casual workers.

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he has any plans to introduce the equivalent of 714 Official Report his estimate of the total amounts of public and private investment overseas for each of the past 10 years, showing for each year those countries where the major investments have been made; and if he will list comparable figures for overseas investment in the United Kingdom.
