§ Mr. Les HuckfieldWhile my Department has already participated in and encouraged a number of microelectronics awareness seminars covering around 1,000 people, we have not yet launched the special workshop programme to be funded under the Microprocessor Applications Project. Preparations are urgently under way. On training, we have committed £929,000 and have already more than doubled the number of places available for engineers.
