asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what is the current position of supplies of diesel oil to British agriculture.

There is a relatively small total reduction of supplies which is spread unevenly amongst both the supplying companies and their customers. Anyone in difficulties should go back to their normal suppliers, calling their attention to the importance of maintaining food and agricultural supplies, and press them to meet their commitments to the maximum possible extent.
