§ Mr. DeakinsInformation relating only to ambulance staff—that is, not including ambulance officers—is available from the Department's survey of earnings in a one week pay period in May 1978, and therefore the results are not necessarily representative of the whole year. In addition to the London ambulance service, the survey covers only those six health authority regions in England for which figures appear in the table below.
