§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Employment whether the chairman and members of the Standing Commission on pay comparability will receive their payments inclusive of or exclusive of other moneys they may receive from public funds; and whether the time spent on the Commission's work will be reduced for payment purposes from other public funds.
§ Mr. Harold WalkerThe sums paid to the chairman and members of the Standing Commission on pay comparability for their part-time appointments will be related to the time spent on Commission work. Such sums as they receive from their other employments, whether publicly funded or otherwise, are a matter for determination between them and the employers concerned.
