§ Dr. MabonRepresentatives of the British National Oil Corporation and Petroleos Mexicanos, the Mexican State oil company, have met on several occasions. The most recent meeting was during a visit by BNOC to Mexico City in February. The subject of their discussions is a matter for the Corporation. I am 437W not aware of any similar discussions with PEMEX by firms in the private sector.
