§ Mr. Cartwrightasked the Prime Minister if he will instruct the Central Policy Review Staff to examine the growing problems of poorer families unable to afford adequate heating in their homes and to evaluate the impact both of current Government policy and other suggested solutions, including a national fuel rebate scheme.
§ The Prime MinisterThe Government are keeping these problems under active review. I note my hon. Friend's suggestion that the CPRS should undertake a study, but present arrangements for study are adequate.
