§ Mr. Knoxasked the Prime Minister what steps are being taken to implement the recommendations of the Boyle report on salaries for board members of nationalised industries; and what information the people concerned have received about their revised salaries and terms of employment.
§ The Prime MinisterNationalised industry board members received a 10 per cent. rise on 1 January 1978 in accordance with the pay guidelines then in force. The balance of the increase due from TSRB Report No. 10 will be paid in two equal stages on 1 April 1979 and 1 April 1980. Individual board members have already received, or will receive, all the appropriate information relating to their circumstances from their sponsor Department.
