§ Mr. MaclennanIn October, I announced the Government's proposals to ban a wide range of potentially misleading bargain offer claims, in line with 415W recommendations made to my right hon. Friend by the Director General of Fair Trading. Detailed and extensive consultations have since been held on the proposals. I shall shortly be laying an order before Parliament.
