§ Mr. Nicholas Wintertonasked the Secretary of State for Industry if he intends to provide special assistance to textile companies experiencing cash flow difficulties caused by delays resulting from the present industrial action being taken by certain civil servants.
§ Mr. Les Huckfield, pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 15 March 1979; Vol. 964, c. 274], gave the following information:
I am aware that some companies in the textile industry have experienced cash flow difficulties as a result of industrial action by civil servants, but steps are being taken wherever possible to mitigate these difficulties.
