§ Rev. Ian Paisleyasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many terrorist incidents, bombings, shootings, etc. have taken place in the past three months; and how these figures compare with the same months in each of the past five years.
§ Mr. Mason, pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 8 March 1979; Vol. 963, c. 808], gave the following information:
by the Northern Ireland Department of Manpower Services under the provisions of section 3 of the Employment and Training Act (Northern Ireland) 1950. The administrative conditions of the scheme, which are determined by the Department of Finance, include a limitation of retrospective entitlement to four weeks, as it is rarely possible to establish beyond that period the nature or the quality of training already provided.
