§ Mr. Harold WalkerAn additional 10 deputy chairmen and 40 members were appointed to the Central Arbitration Committee in the year ended 31 March 1978 to deal with the committee's increased workload. The difference in total operating costs between 1976–77 and 1977–78 reflects also the additional staff that were required to service the committee.
