§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will publish in the Official Report as much detailed information as may be available for the longest and most convenient stated period of time where charges and allegations have been made against metropolitan police where criminal and disciplinary charges have been preferred and the time that was taken in each instance to commence and complete these cases.
§ Mr. Merlyn ReesThe report of the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis704W for 1977, page 19, gives information about the action taken on complaints and discipline cases during that year. I regret that information about the time taken in each completed case is not readily available.
