§ Mr. CarterYes. The scheme under which health and social services boards help with the provision of telephones was widened by the introduction of revised criteria in June 1978. The new criteria are expected to result in a substantial increase in the amount of help given, but it is too early to make an assessment of the effect of the revised scheme.
