§ Mr. CarterThe chief electoral officer, who is the returning officer for the Northern Ireland European Assembly constituency, has told me that he proposes to start the central counting of votes at 9.30 am on Monday 11 June. Verification of the ballot paper accounts will take place at local level on Friday 8 June.
