asked the Lord President of the Council (1) if he will make a statement, following the referendum, on the application of the 40 per cent. rule to the Government's policy for setting up an Assembly in Wales;

(2) if he will make a statement, following the referendum, on the application of the 40 per cent. rule to the Government's policy for setting up an Assembly in Scotland.
