§ Mr. Michael McNair-Wilsonasked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement about the pay dispute at the Atomic Weapons Research Establishment, Aldermaston, which has prevented the re-opening of active areas at the establishment.
§ Mr. MulleyFollowing local negotiations, work was resumed on 27 February in the first of these areas to be reopened. We are currently discussing claims for the payment of allowances to compensate for the new demands placed upon the employees by the implementation of the Pochin report.
