§ Mr. FowlerAs the hon. Member, knows the pay and conditions of service of the British Transport police and other non-Home Department police forces have been the subject of a committee of inquiry set up under the previous Administration. The committee has just reported to the Lord President of the Council and its findings are now being considered by the Government. An announcement will be made shortly.
