§ Dr. VaughanI have reviewed this matter and have concluded that if possible there should be a code of practice which establishes guidelines for initiating and carrying out general practitioner trials of prescribable medicines. I am writing to the association of the British pharmaceutical industry suggesting that it now prepares and implements such a code.
