Mr. Stoddart

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) if the tenants of properties owned by all public authorities will be given the statutory right to purchase their property at discounts of up to 50 per cent.;

(2) if the tenants of houses owned by the Crown will be given the statutory right to buy such property at discounts of up to 50 per cent.

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if tenants of properties owned by the Ministry of Defence will be given the statutory right to buy their property at discounts of up to 50 per cent.

The Government are committed only to giving council and new town tenants the right to buy their homes.
