§ Mr. Richard Wainwrightasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether the local government boundary changes planned in the Metropolitan borough of Kirklees will go ahead from May 1980 in time for the next round of borough elections.
§ Mr. WhitelawI have not yet received the report of the Local Government Boundary Commission for England proposing new electoral arrangements for the borough of Kirklees. It is therefore not possible for me to say when these new arrangements are likely to be brought into effect.
