HL Deb 25 June 1979 vol 400 c1320WA
Lord BEAUMONT of WHITLEY

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they are prepared to allocate funds for the reclamation of despoiled urban land such as that left behind by statutory undertakings, British Steel and Ports Authorities.

Lord BELLWIN

The funds which the Government already allocate to local authorities in England for derelict land reclamation can be used for this work. In Scotland and Wales the work is undertaken by the respective Development Agencies.

House adjourned at twenty minutes before eight o'clock.
