§ Dr. VaughanThere are at present 79 beds for elderly severely mentally infirm patients, 28 of them for men. Priorities in the development of services are primarily for the health authorities and the Sefton area health authority's plans provide730W for a substantial increase in beds for the elderly severely mentally infirm.
