§ Mr. Marlowasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if, in replacing the rate support grant additions available in the increase orders later this year, he will not reduce the payments made to those shire counties which, because of unfair allocations in the past, are already suffering from severe financial problems.
§ Mr. KingThe distribution of extra rate support grant under an increase order is not a matter for discretion but is determined by the distribution of grant under the main order—in this case the Rate Support Grant Order 1978.
