§ Mr. Colvinasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will undertake an investigation and review of the tax-exempt status of certain religious groups and cults, such as the Unification Church organised under the leadership of the Reverend Sun Myung Moon.
§ Mr. Peter ReesThe Government have no plans at present for a general investigation of this kind. I cannot, of course, comment on the tax position of particular bodies.
