§ 53. Mr. Robert Hughesasked the Minister of Transport if it is his policy to refund expenses to those learner drivers unable to take driving tests as a result of industrial action.
§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeNo refund of expenses is made where a test is lost as a result of industrial action involving withdrawal of labour for which the Department is not responsible. Applications for refunds arising from examiners' working to rule whilst working for the Department are considered on their merits. In all cases a fresh test is arranged without charge.
