Mr. Gordon Wilson

asked the Secretary of Slate for Energy if he will make a statement on the sufficiency of domestic and industrial reserves of coal, including power station reserves, to meet expected demand in the winter of 1979–80 in Scotland, England and Wales, respectively.

On present expectations, there should be sufficient coal to meet demand next winter in Scotland, England and Wales.
