§ 23. Mr. Adleyasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will invite Mr. Len Murray to submit, on behalf of unions affiliated to the Trades Union Congress, a list of what they consider to be politically-sensitive areas of decision in which they would invite their members to take industrial action, such as that pro- 480W posed by the Confederation of Health Service Employees and the National Union of Public Employees over pay beds.
§ Mr. MayhewNo Sir. I do not believe that the great majority of trade unionists in this country wish to undermine our democratic processes by acting in the manner to which my hon. Friend refers.
