§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, in the light of the failures by the Post Office during the recent general and European elections to deliver the candidates' free postage and the returning officers' polling cards, whether he will cause an investigation to be made into these matters following the communication sent to him by the hon. Member for Newham, North-West on 8 June.
