§ Mrs. Renée Shortasked the Secretary of State for Trade if he will introduce import controls on ball bearings and other engineering products from heavily export-orientated countries such as Taiwan, South Korea and Singapore where low wages enable these countries to hold down prices to levels that are below British cost levels.
