§ Mr. MayhewI am informed by the chairman of the Health and Safety Commission, who also chairs the advisory committee on asbestos, that the committee submitted its final report to the Health 337W and Safety Commission and Ministers closely concerned on 9 May 1979 and that the text has now been sent for final editorial work before printing. It is not possible at this stage to give an exact date of publication.
The setting up of the advisory committee on asbestos was announced to the House on 30 March 1976.
