asked Her Majesty's Government: What percentage of:—

  1. (a) bacon;
  2. (b) pork;
  3. (c) pork sausages;
  4. (d) ham; and
  5. (e) other pigmeat products consumed in the United Kingdom have been produced in this country in each month in each of the last 10 years.

The following are the figures for United Kingdom produced supplies of bacon and ham and pork and other pigmeat products over the past 10 years which are expressed as a percentage of available supplies. The figures for 1969 to 1972 inclusive have been provided on an annual basis, for 1973 to 1977 inclusive on a quarterly basis and for 1978 and January 1979 on a monthly basis. I regret that more detailed information in the form which is requested, is either not available or it cannot be obtained without incurring disproportionate costs.
