§ Lord AVEBURYasked Her Majesty's Government:
Whether they will give, for each of the months from June 1976 onwards and for each of the countries of the Indian sub-Continent, the number of applications for entry certificates from dependants of persons already settled in the United Kingdom, and the number granted and refused respectively in each of those months, in a form similar to the Answer given on this subject on 22nd June 1976.
§ Lord BELSTEADA new system for recording information from posts in the Indian sub-Continent was introduced on 1st January 1977: the figures before and after that date are not directly comparable. Thus the tables below give the number of new applications received, applications granted and those refused in each quarter of 1977 and 1978.
