asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will support the United States proposal at the forthcoming meeting of the International Whaling Commission for a ban on commercial whaling.

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will make a statement on his policy on the conservation of sperm whales.

Mr. Peter Walker

I am presently reviewing United Kingdom policy on whaling and expect to make a statement before the meeting of the International Whaling Commission next month.
