§ Mr. GrayThere have certainly been difficulties in some cases, although I know of no instance in which a factory has had to close or lay off its workers directly as a result of shortage of oil.
I am in touch with the Confederation of British Industry and Association of 42W British Chambers of Commerce about the situation and I am sure they will help communicate to industrial consumers the message that ways must be found to reduce oil consumption and offer advice on the means.
